LOUISVILLE, Neb. — Mark Savery claimed the Cat. 1 Nebraska MTB championship on Saturday by holding off a charging Brad Auen at Platte River State Park.
Savery (Midwest Cycling Community), who won a UCI Masters World Cyclocross championship over the winter, and Auen (Lincoln Industries Racing) have battled head to head three times this season, with Savery getting the better end of the deal each time.
Matt Tillinghast, also of Midwest Cycling Community, finished third.
